On May 23, the Party Committee of Longyuan Group held the enlarged meeting of Shanghai Film Party members in 2019. More than 80 representatives of Shanghai regional Party members and some branch Party members participated in the meeting. Lai Zhenyuan, secretary and chairman of the Party Committee of the Group, attended the meeting and made an important speech. At the meeting, Lai Zhenyuan made several requests to the present Party members:

First, we should maintain unity, achieve the fine traditions of some Party members, such as hard work, thrift, criticism and self-criticism, and give full play to the exemplary role of the vanguard. General Secretary Xi Jinping visited the descendants of the Red Army martyrs in Jiangxi on May 20 in order to let us ponder over the source of our drinking water and never forget the older generation. Learning from the General Secretary's speech, for Longyuan, we can not forget the corporate culture, hard service, and old comrades and predecessors.

Second, our Party members should shoulder their responsibilities and obligations. In the past, we built the Party branch in the project department and played its due role in the management and production work. At present, we are considering building Party branches in all branches, and all branches with conditions should be established. We should set an example by ourselves, and the Party members of the branch companies should really shoulder their responsibilities and do practical things for the group.
Thirdly, we should mobilize outstanding comrades around us, unite all forces that can be united, and take the initiative to approach the Party organizations. Our Party needs fresh blood and young strength to keep developing and advancing. Our group also needs more young and excellent Party members to inherit the ideas and spirit of the older generation and contribute to the development and construction of the group.


The Party Committee of Longyuan Group was established in July 1995 and has lasted for five sessions. The Party Committee consists of eight site branches, one branch office and one headquarters office. Chairman Mao once said that the branch should be built in the company, while Longyuan built the branch on the construction site and achieved remarkable results in the pioneering activities. Qian Shuijiang said that Longyuan's party members have always been very active in paying party fees and participating in party organization activities. This is a good phenomenon. At an important stage of enterprise transformation, upgrading and development, Party members need to make good examples. Our Party has three fine traditions of combining theory with practice, closely linking with the masses, criticism and self-criticism, which make us oppose dogmatism and be pragmatic in our daily work; while strictly checking branch companies and project departments, we should be modest in their opinions and serve them attentively; and we should look for shortcomings on our own and be a good model for Party members.
